Do I need speaking experience?
No. You need experience worth sharing, curiosity about your audience, and a willingness to practise. We can start before you have a polished topic or a finished talk.
Can you guarantee a TEDx talk or a paid booking?
We help you shape your idea and talk around what TEDx organisers look for, refine your delivery and build a compelling application. We draw on our organiser network where relevant to identify opportunities and help you present your strongest case to selection committees. Our role is to put you in the strongest position we can; the final invitation rests with each event’s organisers, so a TEDx place or paid booking cannot be guaranteed. Speaker House is independent and is not affiliated with TED or TEDx.
What happens after I apply?
We review your background, goals and idea. If there is a potential fit, we contact you by email to arrange an introductory call. We discuss your goals, the work involved and the investment before you decide. Applying does not commit you to buying.
What does the programme cost?
The TEDx Speaker Programme is US$2,500 at our launch rate. Work one-to-one with an experienced coach to uncover your strongest idea, craft a compelling talk and build an application that does it justice. Start with a free conversation to explore your potential.
How long does the TEDx programme last?
Up to six months of personalised coaching. We start by finding the idea only you can bring to the stage, then shape your talk and prepare your applications. Monthly sessions and feedback between calls help you keep building confidence and momentum.
Can we work together remotely?
Yes. Coaching takes place online, with preparation and rehearsal between sessions. We agree on session times and the working language during the introductory call.
Is there ongoing coaching?
Yes. Ongoing speaking coaching is US$750 per month with an initial three-month commitment. It includes two coaching sessions and one video review each month. This is a separate programme for continued speaking development and preparation after your TEDx place is confirmed. You are never enrolled automatically.
